Lower back pain finally gone

Desk job, 12 years. My lower back was a daily 4/10 ache. Started the 4-week Foundation plan because I'd already tried 3 yoga apps and bounced off all of them. Too aerobic, too long, too "American". This one actually starts with the cat-cow + sphinx + child's pose chain my physio recommended years ago. By week 2 the ache was gone on weekdays. Week 3 it was gone on weekends too. I'm not exaggerating, my wife noticed before I did.

Sleep finally

I have been chronic insomnia patient since covid. tried melatonin, sleep apps, even therapy. Nothing worked properly. The night routine in this app (8 minutes of breathwork before sleep) gave me 6.5h continuous sleep on day 4. I cried lol. Still doing it 7 weeks later, still working. Achi hai, but takes commitment

Bohot achi app hai honestly. Mai 38 years ka hu, do bachhe, IT job. Stress 9/10 tha when I started. App ne mujhe daily 15 min routine diya, pranayama + 4-5 asanas. Hard part is doing it daily, agar miss kiya 2-3 din full reset feels like. But when I stick to it, mood is so much better. Wife also started after seeing me. 4 stars because the reminders sometimes don't fire on my OnePlus, app team please fix.

Knee pain modifications saved me

I'm 52 with bad knees from running marathons in my 30s. Most yoga apps assume you can do warrior 2. I can't, knee gives out. The intake quiz actually asked about pain areas (which is rare!) and the plan that came out had no deep lunges, no chair pose, all standing poses with the option to use a wall. By week 6 I have less pain in stairs. My orthopedic was surprised at last visit.

Lost 4kg in 8 weeks

Down from 78 to 74 kg over 8 weeks doing the daily 25-min flow + the diet tips section (which is mostly just "eat dinner before 8" stuff but it's in your face every day so it works). Not a miracle but consistent. Would have been 5 stars if there was a community / streak share thing. Doing it alone gets boring after week 4.

Postpartum recovery, gentle and smart

6 months postpartum, c-section. Was scared to start any movement. Grihasana's plan asked me about that specifically and gave me a postpartum-safe sequence: no crunches, no deep twists, focus on pelvic floor + diaphragm coordination. Slowly slowly I'm rebuilding. The fact that they took recovery seriously means a lot. Indian app for Indian bodies, finally.

Good content, app crashes sometimes

The yoga content is genuinely well-thought. Sequences make sense, the audio cues are calm without being annoying. BUT the app crashed 4 times in 3 weeks for me on Android 14. Once mid-session which broke my flow. 3 stars because content is great but stability needs work. Will revise upward if they fix.

Energy levels through the roof

37, software engineer, was feeling tired by 3pm every day. 4 weeks into the plan and the afternoon slump just... isn't there anymore. I haven't changed coffee, sleep, or work. Do I need a gym or equipment?
No. Grihasana is built for living-room floors. If you have a yoga mat and 2 sq m, you’re ready. We add resistance bands or dumbbells only if your plan calls for them.
Will the diet plan understand Indian food?
That’s the whole point. Our nutrition logic is trained on Indian dishes — roti, dal, sabzi, idli, dosa, chole, biryani — across veg, non-veg, Jain, eggetarian. You log meals as you eat them, not in grams of chicken breast.
How long is a daily session?
15 to 35 minutes, calibrated to your week. Busy day? You get a 12-minute movement primer. Free Saturday? We program a longer flow.
Is the app in Hindi?
Yes — voice cues, instructions, and recipes are available in English and Hindi. Tamil, Telugu, Marathi and Bengali are rolling out through 2026.
I’m a complete beginner. Will I struggle?
The quiz catches your starting point. Day 1 is meant to feel doable, not heroic. Difficulty ramps only when your check-ins say you’re ready.
What if I have an injury or back pain?
Tell the quiz. The plan generator avoids contraindicated movements and substitutes alternatives. For anything clinical, we recommend looping in your doctor — Grihasana isn’t medical care.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Two taps in Settings → Subscription. No call centre, no retention dance.
How is my data handled?
Your data is encrypted, secured, never sold. Photos you upload for progress are private to you and erasable any time.
